I saw one of these at a local cafe and just had to find out more about these Domestic Trophies by Rachel Denny … don’t they look cozy covered in cashmere knits…

Intrigued by the dada-ish quality of these images by Chema Madoz…

Amongst all the wonderful talent at the Atlanta Gift Show, I was especially enamored by the vintage-inspired designs from Jenni Bowlin. From mini bingo calendars to chipboard buttons, all so nostalgic and sweet…

We’re back from the Atlanta Gift Show, and what a trip it has been! The snow storm really threw us for a loop. Snow in the South, really? First, there was the trepidation of delayed flights and transits, followed by icy roads in Atlanta.
When we got to the hotel, we found out that Fedex had not made deliveries in the last 5 days due to the horrendous weather. Eeeps… so much for my great idea to ship our booth set-up beforehand. What you see above is our Plan B booth… made out of anything we could get our hands on. Nothing like an emergency to get our creative juices flowing right?
Anyways, despite the misadventures (like dropping my phone in the toilet on Day 2, but that’s a whole other story), we did have a lovely time. We met some wonderful folks at the show, ate really well and put in a few hours of play time. But now we’re just happy to be home sweet home…

We’re all (almost) packed and prepped for our first show of the year: the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market! We’ll be exhibiting our 100% organic cotton reusable fabric Give Wraps™, letterpress stationery and gifts. It’s kinda a big deal because firstly, it’s our first time in Atlanta (read: any recommendations for restaurants and places welcome) and secondly, it’s Maika’s first flight (read: any suggestions for baby’s first flight also welcome)!
If you’re planning to attend the show, please stop by our booth and say hello…

We’re looking forward to meeting old and new faces. Safe travels to all…

So while we’re still on the topic of babies, the “baby” we were slaving away on last month has arrived… it’s the Best of Style Me Pretty 2010… compiled in a digital magazine! 20 of the most-talked about weddings jam-packed in this e-glossy, complete with buying guides.
Congratulations to the SMP team, with a special shout-out to Elaine and Abby for being such an dream team to work with…

we were two...

now we are three...
Looking back to the past year, so much has happened. The highs, the lows… but nothing, nothing could have prepared us for the arrival of our little girl, Maika. Never in our wildest dreams could we ever have imagined how much joy and laughter this tiny little thing would bring to our home…
This time last year, we were two. Now we are three…
May this year be as epic for you all…
