Oh my goodness… cuteness overload at Ola & Olek.
Love the casting (red curls!) and styling…

We are back from the Big Apple and happy to report that the show was a great success (and great fun) despite the horrid weather we had. We’re taking a couple of days off to regroup and catch up on correspondence. If you have emailed us in the past week and have not heard back, fear not… we’re on it!
In the meantime, here’s a pic of our cute booth at the show… excuse the glaring lights…

And who doesn’t love totes… 100% linen and printed on soy-based inks.

If linen is not your thing, we have totes made of recycled canvas too!

This year, we’ll also be introducing some fabric buckets made of 100% recycled, unbleached canvas.

I especially love the mini-sized ones. Perfect for office supplies and knick knacks…

Hello hello. It’s been a while since we posted… our apologies. We’ve been busy with the studio move, family and of course, projects and new product development for 2011! All this week, we’ll be revealing sneak peeks of our new collection debuting at the National Stationery Show in New York.
This year, our Sustainable Collection™ has been inspired by the concept of upcycling: taking an existing material and making it into something that has equal or greater use or value. How is this different from recycling, you ask? Simply put, recycling sometimes reduces the quality of the materials (e.g. turning a plastic bottle into a lesser grade plastic), while upcycling maintains or improves the quality of the materials.

First up is our Give Bags™… made from our reusable Give Wraps™. We’ve taken our existing line of wraps and turned them into gift bags of all sizes and get this… the little bags come with matching stamp sets! Can we say, hip hip hooray?!
More to come…
