Camping or Glamping?

I’ll admit I’m not much of a camper, but glamping, that is a whole different story. The options at Canopy and Stars are addictive. Give me a yurt that looks like this (pictured above) or this boathouse, and I say, my bags are packed!

One Big Love Feast in Real Simple Weddings

Last year, we had the honor of designing the wedding details for one of the sweetest and fun couples ever: Jen & Mach. For their invites, we created monogrammed spoons to spread the word about this one big love feast in Napa…

To our delight, Real Simple Weddings featured Jen and Mach’s invites in their 2011 book. We are certainly in good company with the other featured invitations here. Congratulations Jen and Mach!

It’s a ho ho holidandy!

So I just have to say, thank you for all the lovely comments on etsy about my interview. It was such an honor to be the featured seller and I am so in awe of all the talent in etsyland.

The highlight was re-connecting with my dear friend Erin, who incidentally also did our wedding florals way back… when she was part owner of Birch. Now Erin owns Rosenow Florals, Fritts Rosenow and as of yesterday, I found out she has the loveliest etsy shop called Holidandy that features these amazing holiday decór.

Cashmere wreaths? Yes please!

Erica and Abe’s Wedding

YAY we were so thrilled to see Erica and Abe’s wedding featured on one of our favourite blogs: 100 layer cake! They are such a fun and sweet couple, and it was such an honor to collaborate on their save-the-dates and invitations. Kudos to Grace Edmands for the beautiful calligraphy. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Coffman!!

Baby Shower on Style Me Pretty

We don’t want to spoil the fun yet, but this afternoon, one of our favourite wedding blogs, Style Me Pretty will be featuring our baby shower. Lots of fun details and beautiful design from my gals: Stacy, Lisa, Priska, and Lily, and photographed by the stylin’ ladies from Gertrude and Mabel photography.

We’ll be featuring more details and tutorials in the coming weeks, but for now, stay tuned and happy friday!

wedding invitations for chefs

wedding invitation for chefs… yay or nay?

“For chefs, the main course is the most important part of a meal.
The meat highlights the meal. For the two chefs, finding each other is like finding the perfect piece of meat that completes their lives.”
